Background

Derby City Partnership ran an competition for local schools to design a logo for a new initiative they wanted to launch. Fluid worked with the winning designer and DCP to create the final logo which was to be used on literature and also needed to be animated for a presentation to local businesses.

Goals

  • Create a dynamic animation around the final 'Be Inspiring' logo.
  • Incorporate the animation into an interactive presentation along with video footage and stills.

Solutions

  • The final animation required some time consuming techniques to get the desired effect.
  • Persuade members of staff to jump around and over desks whilst recording them was the easy part.
  • Tracing each frame's movement took slightly longer, but the results look great.
